Over the years, FSG has consistently adhered to the principle of green development.
In practicing the concept of low-carbon environmental protection, we have optimized our energy usage structure, phased out obsolete energy-consuming equipment, and continuously developed and applied new technologies to achieve intelligent and digital enhancements in production efficiency and quality. This approach has led to reduced resource consumption, energy usage in production, and environmental pollution, contributing to a sustainable future.
For over two decades, FSG has upheld a development philosophy centered on low-carbon emissions, technology, and sustainability. Through the development of green technologies, as well as product and technology iteration, we have implemented a variety of measures to promote energy conservation and emissions reduction. We continuously strive to enhance the efficiency of energy and resource utilization and the level of clean production. With concrete actions, FSG actively fulfills its social responsibilities and perfects its green manufacturing system. In 2023, FSG was certified as a "National Green Factory."
We make full use of the factory's rooftop area and natural illumination to establish photovoltaic power generation facilities. Currently, the proportion of photovoltaic power generation has reached 23%. In addition, we have signed long-term agreements to purchase green electricity. In 2023, the Sailong factory achieved 100% green power usage, and the Sailway factory is also set to follow up in 2024. Furthermore, we employ new energy vehicles for transportation within the factory premises. These measures effectively reduce resource waste and ecological damage.

2. Energy-saving and consumption-reducing project
To enhance production efficiency, reduce energy consumption, lower emissions, and minimize environmental impact, we have implemented an Energy Management System (EnMS). We have established a dedicated energy management team that has set forth corresponding energy policies and targets. The team records and monitors energy consumption and actively implements energy-saving measures for improvement.
We have invited seasoned experts from the Clean by Design energy conservation program to visit and offer valuable suggestions for reducing energy waste, which has tangibly lessened our energy consumption. By continuously monitoring and improving energy performance, we contribute to energy conservation and emission reduction efforts.

3. Water-Based Adhesives
To reduce our environmental impact during production, we consciously use recycled materials. For instance, we utilize RCS-certified cotton or mesh fabric for uppers and eco-friendly soles that incorporate recycled materials. When it comes to packaging, we have switched from traditional plastic materials to paper-based options, reducing plastic usage by 6.45 tons annually, which is equivalent to a reduction of 57.94 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. In our cold cement processes, we have replaced solvent-based adhesives with more human-friendly water-based adhesives, reducing volatile organic compound emissions by approximately 12 tons each year. Protecting the environment is tantamount to protecting ourselves, and in the future, we will continue to develop and provide more low-carbon solutions.
